456

456 This puzzle is called “456” because two of the sides have four squares, two of the sides have five squares, and two of the sides have six squares. There are 15 wood pieces in total; the objective is to disassemble the pieces and then reassemble them into their original configuration. The irregular number of pieces makes the 456 an interesting variation on the traditional burr-type puzzle. Made in 2 woods by Jean-Claude Constantin. Jean-Claude Constantin lives in Germany, where he designs and manufactures many different laser-cut wood puzzles, as well as metal puzzles and magic tricks.

Wooden puzzles are an up-to-date version of a traditional toy, and are designed with education in mind. They are exceptional value for money considering the number of positive rewards you can get out of just one toy. It’s an activity that can be shared with friends or family, one which provides a tremendous sense of satisfaction when the last piece is fitted, making the child want to do the puzzle again and again.
