Cast Elk Note: Our level rating system is different than Hanayama’s.  Hanayama’s level 1 is equivalent to our level 5…. level 6 is equivalent to our level 10. At the end of the 19th century, Britain experienced a huge puzzle craze. I managed to pick up a number of puzzles famous during that period in flea markets, despite their rarity. Based on these original puzzles from Britains’s famous puzzle period, this is one that we have successfully revived in its new form. The key word here is “antlers”. Can you free the antlers… and then put them back together again? -NOB 1986-

Trying to see how pieces fit and re-assessing where they might go when they don’t fit is a good exercise in checking and re-evaluating choices. Each piece can only go in to one place so there is none of the compromising and trading-off that takes place in so many other aspects of modern life. This forces the player to constantly re-evaluate their decisions, and teaches patience with the process as it is an integral part of the game.
