Grossmaul Grossmaul translates “Loudmouth” in English, which aptly names this puzzle that appears like a funny face with a large mouth!  The objective is to free the plastic token by getting it out the large hole.  The washers that are attached to the metal pegs move slightly but don’t seem to want to let the token pass… Made in laser-cut wood and stainless steel by Jean-Claude Constantin. Jean-Claude Constantin lives in Germany, where he designs and manufactures many different laser-cut wood puzzles, as well as metal puzzles and magic tricks.

Although there are countless references to the benefits of reading books, games, etc., this article focuses on the value of wooden puzzles as a catalyst for learning young children.
