Hexagopyramide

Hexagopyramide

Hexagopyramide The puzzle separates into several different pieces, each of which are composed of hexagonal rods of differing lengths. The objective is to replace the pieces into the pyramid arrangement shown, with all of the differently-colored pieces forming the corners on one side. Made in two different woods and stainless steel wire by Jean-Claude Constantin. Jean-Claude Constantin lives in Germany, where he designs and manufactures many different wood and metal puzzles, as well as magic tricks and other intellectual toys and games.

Trying to see how the pieces fit and re-assessing where they can go if they do not fit is a good exercise to check and re-evaluate the choices. Each piece can only come in one place, so there is no compromise and negotiation that takes place in so many other aspects of modern life. This forces the player to continually re-evaluate his decisions and learns to be patient with the process because it is an integral part of the game.
