Kyoto Cubing The Kyoto Cubing Puzzle was created as an exchange puzzle by the talented Russian designer Vladimir Krasnoukhov for the International Puzzle Party hosted in Kyoto, Japan in 2016. There are several goals included in this puzzle – both 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional challenges. 1) Make a cube 3x3x3 using all 6 elements of the set.  2) Make up to 12 other shapes as pictured on the label using the elements of the set.

Although there are countless references to the benefits of reading books, games, etc., this article focuses on the value of wooden puzzles as a catalyst for learning young children.
