Rectangling of Triangles - (revisited)

Rectangling of Triangles – (revisited) Please note that plastic colors vary. This clever revisit of the “Rectangling of Triangles” (the original copyrighted in 2007) includes 6 different objectives: Take the elements out of the frame to solve the following using all 8 pieces:1) Make a rectangle2) Make a triangle3) Make two triangles simultaneously4) Make three triangles simultaneously5) Make four triangles simultaneously6) Make a symmetrical n-angle, where “n” equals: 3, 4, 5, …, 15, 16. Created by Russian designer Vladimir Krasnoukhov.

Trying to see how pieces fit and re-assessing where they might go when they don’t fit is a good exercise in checking and re-evaluating choices. Each piece can only go in to one place so there is none of the compromising and trading-off that takes place in so many other aspects of modern life. This forces the player to constantly re-evaluate their decisions, and teaches patience with the process as it is an integral part of the game.
