Spinning Tumblers Brass Puzzle The objective of this brass puzzle is to free the tumblers. A great test of observation and deduction! Please note: Not to be mistaken as a cryptex, this puzzle does not include a place to hide or store items. Made in sturdy brass by a hobbyist who makes each piece by hand without the use of a CNC machine. Each piece is designed to be both aesthetically pleasing both by the eye and feel. According to the designer: “I’ve always had a fascination with puzzles. Yet not actually playing with one; but the mechanism inside. As such, I’ve decided to make small batches of unique puzzles which aren’t just fun and mind boggling to play with, but also look and feel good too.” Each Puzzle comes in a pine box with a silver clasp seated on a blue velvet cushion. Take apart and reassemble the metal pieces.

The first thing you see when looking at any puzzle is the photo or illustration of the completed puzzle. On choosing, remember that the image should have some educational value but also be something the child can relate to. If the image is familiar to the child or fulfills the educational objective (like learning colours or naming objects), the experience of completing the puzzle will be all the more enjoyable, satisfying and productive. The image should be easily recognizable so the child can identify it as something they see around them in their everyday life. It should also have distinguishable features to help them decide where to put the piece so that it ends up in the right place.
