Tied in a Buttonhole

Tied in a Buttonhole This puzzle is designed as a bit of a prank. The wooden peg is threaded through an unsuspecting friend’s buttonhole. The person must then remove the puzzle from their shirt. If they can’t remove it, then they must walk around all day with a wooden peg hanging from their shirt. Solving it is more difficult than you would think! Comes with pictured solution. Packaging is written in Korean.Difficulty: 2 out of 5

Remove the wooden pencil from your buttonhole.

Trying to see how pieces fit and re-assessing where they might go when they don’t fit is a good exercise in checking and re-evaluating choices. Each piece can only go in to one place so there is none of the compromising and trading-off that takes place in so many other aspects of modern life. This forces the player to constantly re-evaluate their decisions, and teaches patience with the process as it is an integral part of the game.
